Published in Malvie Magazine

When Malvie Magazine saw these photos ofAnette they asked if I would do an interview for their April 2026 issue “Body Positivity”. Of course I agreed.

Malvie Magazine is a print and digital fashion magazine based in France. I quote from their website; “MALVIE is so much more than a fashion magazine, but is an art piece that takes you through a transformative aesthetic journey. MALVIE is a reference guide for personal style and is expected to inspire rather than dictate. We encourage people to pursue individuality and uniqueness…” You can view the Malvie Instagram account here. If you want to view or buy a hard copy of the issue that contains my photos it is available on MagCloud.

The Magic of Light

This is the third blog post in my series “The Magic of Light”. It is the first that shows photos that were taken in my studio using flash. The first two posts in this series were taken using just natural light.

My first post in this series shows photos taken at sunrise in Wales, with the warm colours of the early morning sun coming through the side of a barn in the process of being renovated. The barn was being transformed form a ruin into a working artist’s studio. It is now a hive of creativity that hosts courses in sculpture using clay, stone and metal.

My second post in this series includes photos of a Celtic Cross carved by the late Ross Fuller. The photos were taken before, during and after sunrise.
